life has continued on

life has continued on am still researching sewing machines and am also resaearching my family on ancestry .com
if nothing else besides the machines and quilting and my hobbies and back researching family cooking receipes I can at least leave a genealogical record for my childern and the rest of the family.

life is good and stuff

well life is good have been here a year and sold the puppies but kept 3...
tiny ,droopy and blaze and kept the Father arrow...
Brianna got relocated to the amish and is doing well living on a farm...
life down here is kind of different where We had lived for years was more like living in the country and one good outside and here birdsongs and hear nature.
this area is definitely in the city and high traffic people are in the neighborhood and it is on a bus line..
still lookingto rent a bigger house with a yard.

my big emergency move

my life for my husband and I is turning totally upside down as my landlord has given us notice that my house has been sold and is being razed may1st.

I got notice march31st and then I found out that this has been going over the winter and we had not been informed.

my and I are house hunting and job hunting.

We are relocating 5 male cats into a no kill shelter and neither one of us really wants to be forced to do this either..I have 9 cats total and have hid and lied for years and just can not continue to do this.

we also have 2 rat terriers and they have had puppies 2 males and 6 females and we are willing to ship...we are charging $250.00 on the puppies the parents are both purebred rat terriers,I am not a professional breeder but I am fussy . They are guaranteed non -related and from differnt bloodlines..

the other breeders are charging $350.00 and Arrow's breeder is starting at $450.00 with no papers and her dogs have come out looking manchesters and minature pinchers....

introduction

hello,my name is pamela.
I belong to treadleon a treadle sewing machine group and a few others...
I have quite a few varied interests and I love to cook ,sew, crochet,knit,embroider and read and watch tv.I also like to enjoy nature too...
I will later add a few photos as I become more familiar with things...
I am currently making two knitted afghans a very simple patten and they are in stripes and wide ,the bigger afghan is being made up with 100% wool knitting yarn some of which I had saved for years as wool knitting yarn is expensive and not easily found..
some of the brands that I am useing skeins of kmart and woolworths wool,yes they actually used to have things made for them and the rest of the yarn is in various brands but I live in a small town in wisconsin and we do not have a lot of fabric or yarn stores but we do have a Michael's and a Hobby Lobby in town so I shop there...
I am also having to use Lion brand 100% wool as it easy to get..
afghan number two is being made from Lion brands moonlight madness series in various shadeswell fine all except one and I also made 2two long wide scarves for winter wear, this a very pretty glittery yarn which is made with 1 strand of gliitery yarn and 1 strand of very fine pure mohair which is is very thin ;as thin as tatting thread so seperating it would be silly to me...
my husband Dale is an artist but works for a living ,Dale draws and sketches and does water colors and oils,he als sews and helps me work on my electric sewing machines as I do not like having to rewire or work electricity and I am not used to doing this...
I am also finishing a bucilla magnolia elegance quilt and 8 pillowcases all hand embroidered with counted cross stitch and it has been hand sewn and embroidered,the seams were even down by hand I am now going to tackle the project of making ruffls and finishing it by hand and beleive me this is a lot of work and is making me relize just how much faster things get done whether by useeing a handcrank sewing machine a treadle sewing machine or one of my older antique electric machines...
I am also really excited as my two little rat terriers Arrow and Brianna
have bred and Brianna is due just guessing any where between Saint Patrick's day and Easter Sunday .She is getting big and is uncomfortable and is a very sweet loving dog who sits in my lap and sleeps in our bed along with the cats and us is taking up more of the bed than we do..
This will be my first time to ever have newborn puppies which is a first for me as all our dogs were 2 monthsold when we got them as a child when I was little and I was never even around cats or dogs with puppies and kittens ...
My cats did have kittens 1 kitten each for 2 cats and their poor Mother Sheba who was one of beautiful beloved black rescue persians which are now dead only had 2 kittens herself both of which I kept so I know more about kittens from actual experience...
Needless to say I am so excited about my dog having puppies and she has an indoor kennel that we use when we go shopping or the dogs will misbehave and start chewing things and tearing up the house...I am als going to be fixing spaying Brianna and selling her puppies and from the looksof her stomach which is huge she is going to at least two puppies if not more....
